Canada: Country of Immigrants - Country of Possibilities

With Special Guest, Canada’s Minister of Immigration, Citizenship and Multiculturalism Jason Kenney.

On Sunday October 7, 2012 at 13:30, the Canadian Polish Congress is organizing a meeting with the Polish Diaspora of Ireland. It will take place in Dublin in the Ball Room of the Wynn Hotel at 35-39, Lwr. Abbey Street.

The meeting will be conducted in the English language.



The Canadian Polish Congress’ goal is to promote Canada as the most desirable immigration destination in the world for skilled Polish workers living in Ireland (and not only Ireland).


The Keynote Speaker will be Canada’s Minister of Immigration, Citizenship and Multiculturalism, Jason Kenney. Minister Kenney will not only to speak about imminent changes to Canada’s economic
immigration selection policy but also about Canada as a country of successful immigration for waves of
Polish immigrants over the last 150 years and his own experiences with Canada’s Polonia.


Other speakers will include:


Tony Muszynski – Vice President of the Canadian Polish Congress, Head Executive Board for Western
Canada. Mr. Muszynski is a lawyer in Calgary, Alberta.


Mr. Muszynski will talk about the The Athabasca Project, a project initiated by the CPC to increase skilled
worker immigration. He will also speak about the Polish Diaspora in Canada and how Canadians of Polish
descent can assist new skilled Polish immigrants from Europe more easily integrate into a new life of
limitless possibilities in Canada.


Marek Domaradzki – Mr. Domaradzki immigrated to Canada in 1993 as a young adult and graduate
of the Faculty of Law of Marie Curie Sklodowska University in Lublin . He is a Certified Immigration
Consultant who will be able to provide his views on the upcoming changes to Canada’s economic
immigration selection rules most relevant to the Polish Diaspora.


Mr. Kenney’s Keynote Speech and the short presentations by the panelists will be followed by a question
and answer session.
