The Canadian Polish Congress was pleased to see the tabling of Motion M-75 in the House of Commons by the Member for Mississauga East-Cooksville, Peter Fonseca, that would designate May 3 of every year as Polish Constitution Day, and the month of May, every year, as Polish Heritage Month.
The Canadian Polish Congress National Executive Board had long been advocating for this imitative and congratulates MP Fonseca, as well as MP Irek Kusmierczyk and all members of the Canada-Poland Parliamentary Friendship Group for their support. We look forward to the speedy passage of this motion in the House of Commons in 2023.
