Today, Poles across Canada participated in ceremonies to commemorate Remembrance Day, which marked an end to the First World War. On same day, we also celebrated Poland’s 103rd National Independence Day, marking the country’s hard-fought independence on November 11th, 1918 after 123 years of partition and rule by Russia, Prussia and Austria
