This week we mark the 100th anniversary of the Battle of Warsaw, also known as the Miracle on the Vistula, which was one of the most important and consequential battles in World history.
One hundred years ago, the newly formed Polish Army decisively defeated the Soviet Red Army, thereby halting the advance of Communism into newly independent Poland and on to the rest of Europe.
This great battle was won thanks to the military genius of General Józef Piłsudski, his officers and to the patriotism and faith of Poland’s soldiers.
We remember and honour our heroes – Cześć i Chwała Bohaterom!
