Last week, the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC), at the persistent urging of the Canadian Polish Congress and other Central and Eastern European Council (CEEC) community organizations, as well as other Canadians, finally decided to delist Russia Today from its list of non-Canadian programming services and stations authorized for distribution in Canada.
We thank and congratulate the CRTC for its decision, which rightly removes a source of Russian propaganda and disinformation from the airwaves.
